Reteta de weekend – Ardei umpluti cu branza

Tara de provenienta: Croatia

Ingrediente: 6 ardei galbeni, 400 grame branza de oaie, 4 rosii mici, 2 cepe taiate fin, 3 capatani de usturoi zdrobit cu pisalogul, 2 linguri de ulei de masline, 60 grame de masline verzi, 60 grame de masline negre, patrunjel verde, cimbru proaspat, sare, piper.

Preparare: Ardeii se taie in doua si se curata de seminte. Branza se framanta cu o furculita. Rosiile se oparesc cateva secunde, apoi se racesc si se curata de pielite si seminte, dupa care se toaca marunt. Ceapa se caleste in ulei de masline, la final adaugandu-se 30-40 de secunde si usturoiul. Maslinele, din care s-au scos samburii, sunt taiate in rondele foarte fine. Branza, rosiile, ceapa, usturoiul si maslinele sunt amestecate temeinic intr-un vas, pana la omogenizare. Cu aceasta combinatie se umplu ardeii, care se lasa la cuptor, vreme de 30 minute, intr-o tava unsa cu ulei.

Poveste: Versiunea este specifica pentru Coasta Dalmata, dar poate fi intalnita si in Mexic, unde se folosesc ardei Jalapeno, picanti, si o branza mai cremoasa.

Bauturi recomandate: Poate fi recomandat un vin rosu sec, chiar unul croat, cum ar fi cel obtinut din soiul local Plavac Mali (similar cu cel american Zinfandel sau cel italian Primitivo) de Miljenko Grgic, un vin cu arome puternice de fructe de padure negre rascoapte.
